A LITTLE OCTOPUS WITH YOUR DINNER?



Our internet-free weekend extended into a loooong weekend, followed by a few days healing ourselves back to health. 

We are back! and it was a fantastic trip well.worth.it!

Just one of the amazing tastes of this past week:


This meal was lick-your-plate-clean delicious.  

Prepared under hot coals in a traditional brick-oven, the dish is covered with a giant metal lid (called a peka) that keeps the meat of the octopus juicy & tender, the potatoes succulent and the vegetables just the right texture.

Absolutely heavenly - the tastes of these Dalmatian delicacies are unforgettable.
