This is us 2 years back and 2200ft (~675m) up during the post-Christmas, pre-NYE days. Lost Lake at Whistler freezes over and becomes a playground for locals & tourists alike.... skating, ice hockey, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing.... generally a wicked place for some winter fun.
Our December days in Split are sunny & warm this year and while we are both absolute.summer.people and are more than thankful for our 15C winter, there is something about those little white flakes that add some magic to the holidays.
