If you're anything like us, you spent the weekend sampling a multitude of creamy, crunchy and flaky desserts, having "just a bit more" turkey & stuffing and trying wines and liquers and "premium" beers....and not necessarily in that order. Which means that you probably also spent yesterday rolling from side to side (after a few Tums) trying to think up clever ways to shed the 5lbs you just gained....aaaah Christmastime; good moods, good foods, good company....makes it worth a weekend of countless calories.
With New Year's Eve only 4 days away (and plans to still fit into the outfit planned weeeeeeks ago!) we're focusing our energies on cardio, cardio and more cardio with a side of boat renovations (a little project we've been working on since we arrived in beautiful Split and getting to crunch time to bring to completion - stay tuned for more on that later.)
UPDATE: Here's a photo of our Bozicna psenica (a Croatian tradition which I shared with you here) at its peak on Christmas Day!

PS. The fork is misleading - I did NOT eat that entire plate all by my lonesome - although it feels a bit like I did!
